The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation has invited bids for commissioning of OPGW cable
The scope of work includes site survey, planning, testing, design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of OPGW cable by replacing the existing earth wire in 220kV & 400kV transmission lines under buy-back in Karnataka state (KPTCL) on total turnkey basis
The work also includes supply of all matching materials/equipment and erection of all materials/ equipment, testing and commissioning, conforming to KPTCL specifications for implementation of Reliable Communication for 220 kV, 400 kV substations and generating stations for Voice, Data (SCADA&PMU) and Protection in Karnataka state (KPTCL)
The estimated value of the work is Rs 136.32 crore with completion period of 24 months
